ONAM CELEBRATION

We the SVMCTE family celebrated Onam on 22nd August 2023. The program started at 10 a.m. at college hall , the teacher training welcomed everyone to the program. Our respected principal gave the presidential address. Sri Gautam Krishna manager of SVMCTE inaugurated the program. The entry of mahabali was the most attractive and enjoyable moment. Mahabali made and interactive section with us students. All teachers and students trainee wear set saree. After the inauguration students played thiruvathirakali on stage. After that students perform a group song then there was a traditional Onam dance. after about noon onasadhya was there it was a very tasty and authentic traditional style. It was a very vibrant, colourful, joyful onam celebration.

As a part of B Ed curriculum and Socially Useful Productive Work, we cleaned the surroundings of puthoor police station. The programme was started with a flashmob which is done by students of the college. Then there was a meeting, the meeting was inaugurated by Sri. Murukesan R, the sub inspector of police. Presidential address was done by Mr. Goutam Krishna, manager of SVMCTE Vendar. We the students were divided into 5 groups and successfully completed our assigned duties together. We donated some plants with pot to the station. They supplied food and water for refreshment.
