WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION 2023

The women's day celebration of SVMCTE was memorable and empowering event dedicated to recognising and honoring in the achievements of women. The event brought together students, faculty and guest to celebrate effort and accomplishment of women. The event commanded with a thought provoling presidential address by Dr Lalamani pricipal of SVMCTE who emphasize the importance of gender equity. The formal inauguration of the event was conducted by manager sri.Goutam Krishna. The lightening of the ceremonial lamp marked the beginning of the day filled with meaningful discussions and celebrations. The keynote address was delivered by Mrs. Sindhu. S , principal of SVMMHSS Vendar. Her approach revolved around the theme of women leadership, breaking stereotypes and importance of women taking charge of the duties. The main attraction of the program was token of Love for the gems of Sri vidyadhiraja group of educational institution, honouring our precious teachers Mr Sindhu, Smt.sreeja KP, Mrs.sumangali, shrimati Anitha John and Dr. Lailamani p. After the official program student conducted various cultural programs like drama, songs, ramp walk.

As a part of B Ed curriculum and Socially Useful Productive Work, we cleaned the surroundings of puthoor police station. The programme was started with a flashmob which is done by students of the college. Then there was a meeting, the meeting was inaugurated by Sri. Murukesan R, the sub inspector of police. Presidential address was done by Mr. Goutam Krishna, manager of SVMCTE Vendar. We the students were divided into 5 groups and successfully completed our assigned duties together. We donated some plants with pot to the station. They supplied food and water for refreshment.
